We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Accounting Department team.
Here is what you will be doing each day:
This role will assist in multiple areas of accounting as needed related to the day-to-day operation of accounting processes and duties. Accounting tasks, to include but not limited to:
- Accounts Receivable functions: Billing, collections, payments, deposits, and Group billings
- Income Audit functions: Reviewing daily reports, reconciling payments, balancing taxes, reviewing F&B charges, etc.
- A/P functions: Review statements, process purchase orders and invoices. Assist with other A/P and General Cashier tasks such as monthly bank counts, Petty cash processing, invoice entry, etc.
- Prepare variance analysis to budget and forecast
- Support in compilation of annual and periodic budget information
- Employee expense report processing
- Any other Accounting related tasks to assist the accounting office in the day the day operations, including cross training and filling in for other accounting staff when needed.
Does this sound like you?
- Have a bachelor's degree in accounting or two years of hotel accounting experience.
- Take pride of your organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Have the ability to compile facts and figures.
- Can operate a personal computer or calculator.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
