The University of Michigan-Flint is a regional campus of the University of Michigan in an urban setting, with an enrollment of over 7,500 students. Undergraduate and graduate degree programs are offered through five schools/colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Management, the College of Health Sciences, the School of Education and Human Services, and the School of Nursing. The University provides a rich mix of programmatic offerings — including 138 Baccalaureate Degrees, 46 Master’s Degrees, 12 Professional Practice Doctoral Degrees, and two Research Doctoral Degrees — across the five units. This combination of high quality liberal arts and professional and graduate programs in an urban site is distinctive and shapes the institution’s culture and opportunities. With over 500 faculty, comprised of tenure track, clinical track, lecturers and librarians, the University is advancing its mission through a plan that emphasizes modest enrollment growth, improving student success and retention, building resources to support our enterprise, and increased engagement of students and faculty in experiential learning, research, and interdisciplinary programs.
