JOB DESCRIPTION A postdoctoral fellow is sought to conduct research on aqueous photo-electrochemistry with Prof. Pratap Rao in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), in collaboration with the US Army Natick Soldier Center (CCDC-SC). The position will start on or around September 1, 2020, and will be for 1-year, with the option to renew. US citizenship or permanent residency is preferred but not required. Candidates should hold a PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related field, ideally with a background in one or more of the following areas: thin-film materials synthesis and characterization; electrochemistry; catalysis; photovoltaics/semiconductors; corrosion; reaction engineering; water chemistry; and environmental chemistry.
