Advertised Job Summary |
This position requires the following: (1) computational materials research backgrounds with skills in molecular simulations; (2) knowledge of materials mechanics and modeling of mechanics; (3) required to collaborate with experimental groups in polymer mechanics; (4) ability to handle multiple tasks; (5) collegiality to work in a team. It is expected that the postdoctoral researcher will conduct research, write reports on funded projects, publish results in scientific journals and present results in professional conferences, advise students, and assist in the communications and services to satisfy the needs of the sponsor. |
Required Education and Experience |
PhD in mechanical engineering, materials science, physical chemistry or chemical engineering. The person should have the skills to perform computer simulations and numeric modeling. |
