This position is in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences on the Danforth Campus.

Essential Functions


Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Washington University in St. Louis, to work on a NIH-funded research project investigating the neural and psychological mechanisms of event comprehension and memory, as applied to healthy aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Research will involve the integration of methods from functional neuroimaging, behavioral measurement, and computational modeling.


  • Design experiments.
  • Collect data and supervise data collection.
  • Write manuscripts and give presentations.
  • Supervise students and staff researchers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Required Qualifications

    Ph.D. degree (or about to be awarded one) in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, with a background that might include, but is not limited to functional neuroimaging, cognitive aging, computational modeling, neuropsychology.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Substantial experience with neuroimaging analysis.
    • Additional skills in cognitive aging are desirable.

    Salary Range

    Base pay commensurate with experience.
