The Department of Neurology at the McGovern Medical School, a part of University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) is pleased to announce a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist position in the department’s Neuropsychology Division.


The Neuropsychology Clinic provides services to a diverse adult patient population with a broad range of disorders, including neurodegenerative disorders, movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, traumatic brain injury, and functional disorders. Cognitive remediation and psychotherapy services are also offered through the program’s Brain & Behavioral Health Clinic.

  • Clinical Care
  • Clinically-focused research
  • Direct training and supervision of graduate practicu students and postdoctoral fellows



The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or clinical neuropsychology and have completed a 2-year formal postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Current licensure as a psychologist is preferred, particularly in Texas, and the candidate should be eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. This position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank. The interested candidate should submit a CV, letter of interest, and three references
