General Description
This position will be located at the WCJC Wharton Campus.
The Director of Student Life oversees all functions of the Student Life office. These functions include planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive student life program and managing the Pioneer Student Center. Programs and services include oversight and management of the residence halls, student campus activities and programs including intramural sports, student organizations, student government association, student conduct and discipline, and Title IX investigations for students. The Director of Student Life aids the Dean of Student Success in whatever capacity is deemed necessary by the Dean.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of five years of full time experience working in higher education in the areas of student activities, campus life, residence life, student conduct or equivalent. Experience developing and managing student programs, handling student conduct and managing a budget is required.
