Position Summary

This position will contribute to study-team activities focused on increasing Covid-19 vaccine uptake in North Carolina, specifically focused on areas and populations currently under-vaccinated due to high vaccine hesitancy. There will be secondary data analyses to determine geographic areas and populations of interest, analysis of behavioral survey data, assistance with QI activities, QI coaching, and helping communities problem solve.
Specifically, the Postdoc will perform the following:
• Coordinate study team activities and conduct analyses of secondary data to determine the focus of study activities to increase Covid vaccine uptake in North Carolina.
• Analyze behavioral survey data;
• Prepare study findings for publication and lead first author papers in collaboration with the study team;
• Assist with grant writing; and
• Coordinate administrative tasks, including IRB applications.

Educational Requirements

PhD in Public Health, Psychology, or related behavioral science.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have training in quantitative statistical methods.
Experience with health promotion efforts, ideally in vaccination.
Experience with patient-provider communication and Quality Improvement efforts is desirable.
