Summary of Job Duties:
UA Cossatot is seeking a qualified instructor to teach common courses basic to all medical professionals, following the State frameworks and UAC’s syllabi, to high school students enrolled in Secondary Career Center courses. This position will coordinate instruction with the lead instructor and follow UA Cossatot’s policies and procedures. This position will begin Spring 2021 semester.
Class hours of instruction are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
· Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Technical Certificate or Associate degree with a major related to health occupations
· Must have a post-secondary course in Anatomy and Physiology
· Must have 2 years’ experience in health care system and professional licensure
· Must pass State of Arkansas and FBI Background Checks, and the Child Maltreatment Central Registry
· CPR certification strongly recommended
$5,000 per each class taught/per semester
